About Queer As In
I’m Mx. MK ARCH — artist, designer, and general chaos technician behind Queer As In.
This project grew out of mixed-media art shows, late-night collages, and the simple realization that queer anger deserves better. Every sticker and shirt here is an extension of my larger body of work: Political, defiant, darkly funny, and deeply personal.
Queer As In isn’t about trend cycles or performative allyship. It’s about survival, solidarity, and the joy of making something that pisses off the right people.
We don’t make safe art.
We don’t make cute slogans for brands to co-opt next Pride month.
We make things that snarl because survival isn’t soft.
Queer As In was born from the kind of anger that doesn’t evaporate when the march ends. The kind that sits in your chest like static. Every piece here carries that charge, a reminder that queerness is not a costume, not a trend, and definitely not an apology. Queerness has a rich history born of bricks thrown at cops and quiet love between people who will never be alone again.
We believe in visibility without permission.
We believe in art that bites back.
We believe in keeping receipts, naming names, and still finding a way to laugh.
If you’ve ever been called too much, too loud, too political, welcome home.
We’ve been waiting for you.
